Project Description
Smartscape designed and supplied a comprehensive lighting control solution for the Gold Coast Cultural Precinct – Performance Stage, incorporating both DALI and DMX control to support the different functional and performance requirements of the project.
The system was developed to provide reliable day-to-day lighting control while also delivering the flexibility required for show control and dynamic scene operation. By combining DALI and DMX within the one overall solution, the installation was able to support both standard architectural lighting control and more complex performance lighting requirements.
In addition to the control system, Smartscape also supplied selected light fittings for the project, including Archipoint fixtures, helping deliver a more coordinated and integrated result.
Smartscape supplied the control hardware, developed the show control functionality, and completed commissioning to ensure the system performed as intended and achieved the exact result required by the client. The completed installation provides a robust and flexible platform suited to a major public and cultural environment.
